China Silk Museum

China Silk Museum is located in Hangzhou Xizi Lake, is a national silk professional museum, but also the world's largest silk museum, for the Zhejiang Provincial Deputy Department-level institutions, covers an area of five hectares, a building area of 8,000 square metres, the display area of 3,000 square metres, in February 1992 officially opened to the public on 26th. China Silk Museum shows China's 5,000 years of silk history and culture, its basic display includes the prelude hall, historical artefacts hall, sericulture hall, dyeing and weaving hall, modern achievements hall and other five parts.
